Candidate must be –
- Qualification: BE Mechanical / Production from reputed institute
- Total Exp: 15 to 16 years from manufacturing industry
- Fluency in English mandatory
- Proven experience and deep knowledge of production management
- Good knowledge of Welding process and requirements for the same.
- Good exposure to implementation of IMS. Understanding of quality standards and
health & safety regulations - Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production KPI.
- Proficient in MS Office, Power BI and SAP in PP, MM module
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
- TPM – JH/AM pillar will be advantageous and overview of other TPM pillars.
Key Responsibilities:
- To have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards
maximum performance with decision-making and problem-solving skills. - To ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer
requirements. - Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Monitor production to resolve issues.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
- Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Ensure output meets quality standards.
- Implementation of the CIP (Continual Improvement Process) in the area of
responsibility within the context of the agreed guidelines and the program, in order to
guarantee permanent improvement of competitiveness. - Follow strategy to meet unit’s monthly Production targets & delivery requirements.
- Enhance production process operations, optimize resource & capacity utilization, and
increase productivity & operational efficiencies through daily reviews and data analysis. - Responsible for Operational expenditure reduction.
- Has good knowledge on Lean manufacturing processes & drives VSM, SMED, KAIZEN,
TPM (AM /JH Pillar in particular and other pillars) - Ensuring execution of process audit, internal audits, dispositions, and corrective actions
of NCR on time. Monitoring the Deviation & Quality problem Reports - Supporting New product launch, FMEA, Control plan/ SOP review as a part of CFT.
- Counter-measure for Reworking /Scrap Reduction
- Improvement and implementation of 5’s Activities in Shop floor,
- Shift plans preparation & coordination.
- Training plan & actual adherence, Skill matrix preparation.
- Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure.
Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to
fulfil the tasks. - Guiding, instructing, and supporting employees in function-related tasks.
- Responsible for hiring process and sustain the team performance and evaluation as well
as qualification demands. - Managing of employees according to targets and delegation, to select, to qualify and
further develop employees based on a culture of trust, control effectiveness, in order to
develop and compensate potential and promote individual competencies, to achieve the
targets of the department. - Preparing of MIS presentation on monthly/weekly basis for concern area.
- Monitoring the Deviation & Quality problem Reports.
