Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead IT planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Guide and mentor IT managers, engineers, and support staff.
2. Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, data centres, and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of IT systems.
- Manage vendor relationships and vendor management.
3. Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential for implementation.
- Lead automation, ERP/CRM upgrades, and digitization initiatives.
- Foster innovation culture and promote agile practices.
4. Information Security & Compliance
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures and data privacy protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and audits.
5. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure minimal downtime and quick recovery during incidents.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business units to understand IT requirements and provide solutions.
- Report IT performance, risks, and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders.
